How the game was won: Calhoun shook off a sluggish start in a battle of undefeateds on the road to beat Adairsville. The Tigers led 13-3 after the first period, but a 28-point outburst in the second quarter completely swung momentum in favor of the defending state champs. The Tigers had a chance to get on the scoreboard when they marched down to the Calhoun 2-yardline with seconds remaining in the second quarter, but Adairsville was unable to punch it in and did not have enough time to run out the field goal unit before time expired and the game went to the half 31-13 in favor of the Yellow Jackets.
Top Performers: Kaelan Riley completed 10-of-18 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns.
