How the game was won: Buford scored 28 points in each of the first two quarters. Joshua Blackwell and Christian Turner each scored on their only two offensive touches, and Martin Mangrum scored on two out of his three touches. Buford held Chestatee to seven total yards and one first down in the first half while gaining 328 yards.

Top performers: Turner scored on runs of 22 and 71 yards to lead Buford with 93 yards rushing, and Blackwell scored on a run of 35 yards and a 47-yard punt return. Mangrum had a four-yard run and a 36-yard run for touchdowns. … Wolves quarterback Mic Roof was 4-for-5 passing for 112 yards and a 14-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Marsh. … Anthony Grant added a five-yard touchdown run for host Buford.
