Pat Jasinksi caught two touchdown passes, and No. 3 Blessed Trinity picked off three passes in a 23-11 win over No. 6 Westminster on Friday in a battle of Region 4-AAA unbeatens at the Titans’ field.

Jasinski, a senior tight end and linebacker, caught a 78-yard touchdown on the second play of the third quarter and then sealed the win with a 12-yard touchdown with 20 seconds to play. Jasinski finished with 108 yards receiving on four receptions.

Mitchell Rostowsky kicked three field goals for Blessed Trinity, including a 54-yarder that put the Titans up 16-0 late in the third quarter. Westminster still had some fight left, though.

The Wildcats marched 80 yards in 10 plays, with Zay Malcome scoring on a 7-yard run. Westminster converted a two-point conversion to cut the deficit to 16-8 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Wildcats drove inside the Blessed Trinity 10-yard line on their next drive, but had to settle for a Trey Blasingame field goal that cut the lead to 16-11 with seven minutes to play.

Westminster had more chance, but Dupuis picked off Wildcats’ quarter Rankin Woley deep inside Westminster territory. The Titans ran down the clock, before running a play-action pass from quarterback Conor Davis to Jaskinksi for the clinching score.

Davis completed his first seven passes and led two drives inside the Westminster 20-yard line in the first half. But Blessed Trinity had to settle for a pair of Rostowsky field goals. The Titans led 6-0 at the half. The Wildcats had averaged 44.3 points in their last three games, but were held to 108 yards in the first half.
