Following the announcement of the ACC-Notre Dame schedule through 2025, Georgia Tech is expected to have more scheduling announcements in coming weeks to fill in holes through 2024. Tech’s scheduling philosophy is to play one game against an FCS opponent, another against a non-power conference team and two against power conference teams, including Georgia.

Through 2024, as long as the model is followed, there are only two more open slots for an out-of-conference game against a power-conference team, in 2018 and 2020. Senior associate athletic director Ryan Bamford said in September that he had had communications with representatives with schools from the four other power conferences about a home-and-home in those two years .

The confirmed non-conference opponents through 2024:

2015: Alcorn State, Tulane, at Notre Dame, Georgia

2016: Mercer, Vanderbilt, at Georgia

2017: Tennessee in Chick-fil-A Kickoff game (not finalized, but expected), Georgia

2018: Tulane, at Georgia

2019: at Tulane, Notre Dame, Georgia

2020: at Georgia

2021: Kennesaw State, at Notre Dame, Georgia

2022: Ole Miss, at Georgia

2023: at Ole Miss, Georgia

2024: Notre Dame, at Georgia
