Georgia Tech guard Marcus Georges-Hunt was named to the All-ACC third team by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. Georges-Hunt earned the honor after leading the Yellow Jackets to their best season in coach Brian Gregory’s tenure.

Georges-Hunt finished 11th among conference players in All-ACC voting. He is seventh in the league in scoring average (16.6 points per game) and fifth in conference play (18.1 points). He has scored in in double figures in 25 of 31 games this season.

Georges-Hunt also received one point in voting for most improved player. Gregory also received one point in voting for coach of the year.

Georges-Hunt is the second Tech player in Gregory’s tenure to be named All-ACC following center Daniel Miller in the 2013-14 season. Georges-Hunt is the first player recruited by Gregory to Tech to earn All-ACC recognition.
