Just when you thought work on the Northwest Corridor express lanes project was done for a few days, the Georgia Department of Transportation tacked on an extra day.

The I-285 eastbound and I-75 northbound ramps will close from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday for bridge construction.

Traffic traveling from the eastbound ramp to I-285 eastbound and I-75 northbound will be redirected to the I-75 southbound exit ramp to Cumberland Boulevard. Drivers will make a left on Cumberland Boulevard and another left to access I-285 eastbound or I-75 northbound.

The I-75 southbound ramp to I-285 eastbound will also be closed. Drivers will need to take exit 259 or continue south and exit at Cumberland Boulevard to access I-285 eastbound.
