Construction may slow your commute in metro Atlanta this weekend

Those in Cobb County can expect express lanes work to ruin your commute.
Drivers heading into downtown Atlanta may run into a bit of trouble along the Connector, but don't anticipate any bumper-to-bumper traffic.
Surprisingly, Ga. 400 won't be as crowded as it is during the work week.
Here are your trouble spots:
Northwest Corridor Express Lanes
I-575
One northbound lane will close between Ridgewalk Parkway and Sixes Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
One southbound lane will close between Ridgewalk Parkway and Sixes Road from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
A traffic pacing will take place from Bells Ferry Road to Chastain Road from 8 p.m. Friday to 9 p.m. Saturday.
One lane will close between Big Shanty Road and Barrett Parkway from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
One southbound right lane and an entrance ramp will close between Sixes Road and Ridgewalk Parkway from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
One lane will close near the northbound exit ramp to Sixes Road from 9:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
A traffic pacing will take place between Roswell Road and South Marietta Parkway from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
One northbound lane will close between Bells Ferry and Shallowford roads from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. A traffic pacing will also take place 10 p.m. Sunday to 3 a.m. Monday.
I-75
Two lanes will close between South Marietta Parkway and Delk Road from 11 pm. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
A traffic pacing will take place between Delk Road and Windy Hill Road from 11 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday.
The I-75 southbound exit ramp to Delk Road will close from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
One lane will close between Cobb Parkway to the I-285 Interchange from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
I-285
One lane will close between the I-285 ramp from Cobb Parkway and the I-75/I-285 interchange from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
A traffic pacing will take place between the I-285 eastbound ramp from Cobb Parkway to the I-75/I-285 interchange.
South Metro Express Lanes
On I-75, two southbound lanes will close between Lake Spivey Parkway and Hampton Road from 9 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Monday.
I-85
Two lanes will close at Virginia Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, from 9 pm. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Downtown Connector
At least two southbound lanes and shoulder will close periodically from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-285
At least one eastbound lanes will close between the eastbound ramp to Jonesboro Road to the entrance I-75 ramp from 9 pm. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
One eastbound lane will close between Flat Shoals and Candler roads to Bouldercrest Road from 6 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.
One westbound lane will close from Bouldercrest Road to Clark Howell Highway from 6 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.
One eastbound and one westbound lane will close from Glenwood Road to the I-20 entrance ramp from 6 a.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
One southbound lane will close between Paces Ferry and South Cobb Parkway from 9 pmk. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday, and from 9 pm. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Ga. 400
One lane will close from Bald Ridge Marina to Browns Ridge Road from 9 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday, from 9 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday, and from 9 pm. Sunday to noon Monday.
Other State Routes
Two lanes will close between Anvil Road and Cedar Drive from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for bridge rehabilitation.
Roads will close along Roosevelt Highway between Gresham Street and a CSX railroad crossing from 9 p.m. to noon Saturday for a 5K run.
Roads will close along Northside Drive between 16th and 17th street and again from Overbrook Drive and Peachtree Battle from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday for a the PNC Atlanta10 Miler and 5K race.
