The Georgia Department of Transportation will reopen Atlanta's Courtland Street Bridge on Monday.

The 111-year-old downtown bridge has been closed Gilmer Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive since May while GDOT built a new span. The $25 million project used some of the same accelerated bridge construction that allowed the agency to reopen a collapsed section of I-85 in just six weeks last year.
