Despite Georgia's robust and growing film community
there weren't a ton of Atlanta connections among this year's Golden Globe nominees and winners
. I'm not finding a single Oscar connection although many nominees have filmed projects in Atlanta.
Adam McKay, up for best director honors for "The Big Short," directed "Anchorman 2" in Atlanta.

Chris Rock will host the 2016 Academy Awards, airing Feb. 28 on ABC.
