Kevin Hart and Eniko Parrish got engaged in August 2014 at a private party at Yebo, the trendy South African restaurant at Phipps Plaza in Atlanta's Buckhead district. Guests included rapper-actor Ludacris, producer Will Packer and entertainment host Kenny Burns.

Kevin and Eniko will tie the knot this August, he told Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance to promote the upcoming "Ride Along 2." Here's the trailer.

He didn't say where the wedding will take place, just that he is officially off the market come Aug. 8

"Ride Along 2," filmed partly in Atlanta reunites Kevin and Ice Cube as "brothers-in-law." The partners in blue are about to be family as Kevin's character is marrying the sister of Ice Cube's character: : As his wedding day approaches, Ben (Kevin Hart) heads to Miami with his soon-to-be brother-in-law James (Ice Cube) to bring down a drug dealer who's supplying the dealers of Atlanta with product."

It also stars Tika Sumpter, Benjamin Bratt, Ken Jeong and Olivia Munn.

Will Packer is once again serving as producer. He and Ice Cube recently celebrated the triumphant debut weekend for their 2015 hit "Straight Outta Compton." Atlantic Station was the #1 theater in terms of ticket sales for "Compton."

It was during "Ride Along 2" filming here that Kevin popped the question. He rented out Yeno one night for what his lady thought was a smallish birthday dinner.  But really, he had her family and friends hiding behind a curtain.

Surprise!

The crowd enjoyed Yebo favorites including chicken spring rolls, ahi tuna, Greek salad, grilled salmon and lamp chop lollipops. Then it was time for the birthday girl to blow out her candles. Another surprise: along with the cake came a ring.

"She was totally surprised by everything - the birthday and proposal," Yebo owner Justin Anthony told us at the time. "It was a really cool, fun night."
