Kerry Washington and Ben Affleck each are in Atlanta working on separate movie projects and in their downtime each has paid a visit to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in downtown Atlanta.

Kerry is here for the HBO film "Confirmation." The movie focuses on the confirmation hearings of US Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. She stars as Anita Hill.

Ben is here for "Live By Night," with  Zoe Saldana, Sienna Miller and Elle Fanning. Plot: "A story set in the Prohibition Era and centered around a group of individuals and their dealings in the world of organized crime." (imdb).

The Center's current exhibits include a collection of items shedding new light on the personal life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "Man Behind the Movement" will be on exhibit through Aug. 30.
