Bobbi Kristina Brown's cousin Jerod Brown announced last week that he and her companion Nick Gordon had teamed up on a commemorative T-shirt project.

Now's he's announced an upcoming video in her honor.

The project likely lacks the endorsement of Bobbi Kristina's father, singer Bobby Brown. A recent statement issued by his attorney requested that media outlets stop talking to "unauthorized" family members and mentioned Jerod Brown specifically.

“This is a criminal investigation and we do not need this side show,” the statement said.

Meanwhile Nick and Bobby Brown have been locked in a dispute over visitation. Dueling statements issued by attorneys for both sides say Bobby Brown offered Nick the opportunity to visit, if he agreed to certain conditions. Nick's camp said he was advised not to do that.

An aunt of Bobbi Kristina's took out a restraining order against Nick last year and apparently things aren't too warm between them if his recent tweets are any guide:

Bobbi Kristina has been in the hospital since a Jan. 31 medical emergency.

A flurry of reports citing unnamed family sources have given hints at her condition. After People and USA Today reported that her breathing tube had been repositioned CNN reported that she "will now be ventilated through a hole in her throat, a sign of long-term need.

"This is an indication that the patient will need this for weeks and months to come, as opposed to hours and days," CNN's chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta said in the report, adding that "the move lowers the risk of infection and is standard procedure."

Some recent reports indicated she'd been lifted from her medically induced coma but subsequent reports say otherwise. More recently USA Today reported she experienced seizures when doctors tried removing her from a medically induced coma.
