A West Coast-influenced Italian restaurant will soon open at Colony Square as part of its $160 million redevelopment.

Chef Chris Gentile's Iselle Kitchen + Bar is slated to open in fall 2019 on the corner of 14th and Peachtree streets in Midtown. The menu will features dishes such as ricotta-stuffed squash blossoms, speck and blueberry bruschetta, seared Ora King salmon and burrata gnocchi.

Previously executive chef of San Diego’s Double Standard Kitchenetta, Gentile recently moved to Atlanta. He decided to open Iselle in Midtown because it has a unique “level of urban vibrancy,” a press release said.

“Colony Square is in the midst of an incredible renaissance, and we’re eager to introduce our own take on Italian to the area while we’re right here in the center of the action,” Gentile said in a statement.

Gentile’s father, a local jazz pianist, will perform regularly at the bistro.
