When the Atlanta Falcons kick off their new season Sept. 15 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, there'll be more than football for fans to get excited about.

Several local food and beverage concepts have been added to the stadium’s culinary lineup, including:

Fred's Meat & Bread will serve as an outpost of the eatery that opened at Krog Street Market in 2014. The cart, which will be near section 116, serves a cheesesteak sandwich featuring 10 ounces of ribeye steak, American cheese, and onions on a nine-inch bun.

H&F Burger from chef Linton Hopkins will be  featured in the Mercedes-Benz Club and Delta Sky360 Club. Hopkins also serves his popular burger and fries at H&F locations at Ponce City Market and SunTrust Park, as well as Holeman & Finch, which will move from its current Brookwood Hills location to Colony Square in Midtown in the coming months.

Hop's Chicken, another entry from Hopkins, which will serve its fried chicken sandwich and chicken tenders in the Mercedes-Benz Club and Delta Sky360 Club. Another Hop's Chicken location operates at Ponce City Market.

Ponko Chicken, an "Amer-Asian" fried chicken spot, will serve favorites from the menus at its locations in Chamblee and Midtown. More Ponko locations are set to open soon in Buckhead, Marietta, Decatur and Canton.

In addition to the adding of Atlanta brands, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is offering new and expanded offerings in some of its concession stands, using fan feedback.

Garden Grill, a new stand located at section 107, will offer vegan options including a Beyond burger and Beyond bratwurst along with vegan chips and snacks.

Salt + Coast will operate in the Mercedes-Benz Club and Delta Sky360 Club and will offer a variety of sushi and seafood options.

Hot Pressed, a mobile grilled cheese station, will have a permanent stand in the 100-Yard Club on the 300 level. Hot Pressed will feature grilled cheese, brisket grilled cheese, jalapeno popper grilled cheese, chili cheese dog grilled cheese and loaded tater tots.

The new options will join already-established offerings inside the stadium including Delia's Chicken Sausage, Iberian Pig, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q, Molly B's and Kevin Gillespie's spot Gamechangers, plus several options for beer lovers.

The stadium, which went cash-free earlier this year, will continue to offer its "fans first" pricing at its concessions stands, with items including hot dogs for $1.50 and chips and salsa for $2.50.

In addition, the stadium’s food truck will be utilized for all game-day events in 2019, bringing the concessions menu outside of the stadium for the first time.
