ATHENS, GA. -- Former Georgia running back Todd Gurley said he's set to meet with the Carolina Panthers and five other NFL teams on Wednesday at the school's pro day.
He's previously met with the Detroit Lions.
Gurley was on hand for the school's workouts, but couldn't participate because of his knee injury. He expected to be ready by late July. The NFL draft is set for April 30 through May 2.

"He's the best back in the draft," Georgia coach Mark Richt said.
Gurley met with several teams and talked on the sidelines with scouts from the Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens and Atlanta Falcons.
“With my situation, I can’t do the physical part," Gurley said. "But it’s a good thing that I’ve got a little film to prove a little something.”
He was still a popular player with the scouts.
"Basically, I was just keeping thing updated with my rehab and telling them what type of person that I am," Gurley said. "Whatever question that they ask me, I'd just answer it the best that I (could)."
