FLOWERY BRANCH -- Some of the Falcons' anticipated moves will come into sharper focus.

Here are 5 things that are expected this week:

  1. Free agency: The Falcons will need to finalize their free agency list. They are expected to go after linebacker Bruce Irvin and have been linked to wide receiver Mohammed Sanu and Travis Benjamin. Also, look for the Falcons to try to sign a center or guard. Teams has start negotiating with with agents on March 7,
  2. Tender time: The Falcons will place their tender offers on restricted free agents Paul Worrilow, Ryan Schraeder and Nate Stupar.
  3. Apology by Cox: Falcons coach Bryan Cox has said he will apologize to the Arizona scout he shoved at the combine on Friday.
  4. Draft board:  With all of the scouting combine numbers in, the Falcons' draft board should come in to better focus. We'll have to pay particular attention the 40-yard dash times and 3-cone drill times of the top defensive players because coach Dan Quinn has made improving team speed a priority this offseason.
  5. Pro Day: The Falcons' scouts will prepare to hit the road for the next few weeks for the  prospects Pro Days. Click here to set the dates for Georgia, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Alabama and Auburn.
