The New Orleans Saints have elected to match an offer sheet the Falcons signed safety Rafael Bush, according to his agent.

The Saints had until Tuesday to match the offer or lose Bush to Atlanta.

The Saints issued Bush a one-year $1.4 million tender earlier this offseason. Bush was originally signed by the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina State in 2010.

Before joining the Saints, he also spent time with the Denver Broncos.

The Falcons did no comment about pending personnel moves.
