Falcons wide receiver Roddy White took to twitter to encourage NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to admit he "messed up" the Ray Rice domestic violence investigation.

White, who goes by @RoddyWhiteTV, later deleted his tweets.

Rodger should just come out and say we messed up and drop the ball on this one but he won't to much pride and it's a lot of that in the nfl

I love playing football I'm living a dream and with this dream comes a lot of responsibility because I'm getting paid to do it

White has a history of making ridiculous comments in social media settings. This last round is rather tame by comparison.

He recently paid off a bet he tacitly made on Twitter to a Mercer fan during the NCAA basketball tournament.
