Good morning! This is Playoff Watch 2017, the early buzz on NFL playoffs.

The Cowboys had a scare when rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott was involved in a minor car accident Wednesday morning near the team's facility.

Elliott was just fine after the accident. He was driving a GMC truck which read-ended a BMW.

“I’m good,’’ Elliott said via Twitter. “I’ve been in bigger collisions.’’

The Packers have a minor distraction with reserve

wide receiver Geronimo Allison being charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana last month after a traffic stop and subsequent arrest in early September.

Allison, 22, was pulled over for speeding on Sept. 4, 2016, according to a criminal complaint obtained by The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. His Dodge rental car was clocked at 81 mph on a stretch of highway with a posted speed limit of 70 mph. Marijuana was found in the car by the state troopers.

“The Packers are aware of the matter involving Geronimo Allison," the team said in a statement Tuesday. "Because this is an ongoing legal matter, we will refrain from making any further comment.”

Allison had one catch for 8 yards in the win over the New York Giants in the wild-card round.

The Patriots had a decent injury report. New England running back LeGarrette Blount missed practice because of an illness, according to the  Boston Herald.

Tight end  Martellus Bennett was removed from the injury report after being listed on it since injuring his ankle in Week 5. He'd also had a shoulder issue.

Linebacker Dont'a Hightower's knee was also taken off the report. He was held out of Week 16.
