Our pal and legendary sports writer Peter King, who's now over at NBC writing the Peter King's Football Morning in America blog, picked the Falcons to be a wildcard team and make the playoffs for the third straight season.

However, he doesn’t see them reaching Super Bowl LIII, which will be played on Feb. 3, 2019 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

King is impressed by Rams general manager Les Snead’s many offseason moves and the retooling of their defense. He picked the Rams to represent the NFC and face the New England Patriots.

“But after seeing 22 teams in five weeks on my camp trip, it was hard to come away from Rams camp thinking they shouldn’t be a Super Bowl favorite,” King wrote.

He visited the Falcons in Flowery Branch during his annual training camp tour.

“And now I’m going all-in on a franchise that last won a playoff game in January 2005, when “Meet the Fockers” was the top movie at the box office,” KIng wrote.

Hey, that was a good movie, though.
