Georgia Tech cornerback Chris Milton dazzled the NFL scouts when ran the 40-yard dash in a sub a 4.4 time at the school’s pro day on Friday.
Milton, who’s been working out with former Georgia standout and retired NFL star Champ Bailey, created a buzz among the NFL scouts on hand, which including contingent of 10 representatives from the Atlanta Falcons.
“That was a big time for him,” Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said. “It’s one of those things where people come in and they are trying to feel their way through these players. Something like that happens and he’s given a highlight on the list. We’ll go back and do some more work on him.”

Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson was busy talking about Milton.
“A lot of people have asked about Chris,” Johnson said. “I’m excited for him. I know that he’s worked hard to get ready. He’s going to get an opportunity.”
Some of the other highlights included:
--Fullback Patrick Skov bench-pressing 225 pounds 31 times. He counted 36.
--Cornerback D.J. White was fluid in his position drills and flowed to the ball well.
--Running back Synjyn Days was 10 pounds lighter than last season at 220 pounds and said he ran under 4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
--Safety Demond Smith suffered an injury on his first 40-yard dash.
--Defensive tackle Adam Gotsis, who is recovering from knee surgery, bench-pressed 225 pounds 19 times.
