--Falcons first-round draft pick Vic Beasley, who remains unsigned, took part in the teams first organized team activities on Tuesday.

Beasley, the eighth overall pick in the draft, worked at left and right defensive end with the backup defenses.

Rookie tackle Jake Rodgers, a seventh round pick from Eastern Washington, was not able to attend because he's still on school.

Several injured players did not participate including linebacker Brooks Reed (minor groin strain), tackle Jake Matthews (foot), guard-tackle Sam Baker (knee). center Joe Hawley (knee), running back Antone Smith (leg), cornerback Jalen Collins (foot), center-guard Peter Konz, safety William Moore (shoulder) and cornerback Dezmen Southward (undisclosed injury).
