FLOWERY BRANCH -- Denver traded offensive tackle Ty Sambrailo to the Falcons for a 2018 fifth-round pick on Friday, according to the team.
The deal was previously reported per source by ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Sambrailo was a second-round pick (59th overall) in 2015 out of Colorado State. He opened his rookie season as the team’s left tackle with Ryan Clady out injured.
Sambrailo, 25, who's 6-foot-6 and 309 pounds, played in 10 games and made four starts last season.
He'll provide some depth behind starting tackles Jake Matthews and Ryan Schrader. The Falcons signed tackle Austin Pasztor, but he has a pectoral injury.
Sambrailo way considered a second-round bust and was bullied by the Falcons in their break-through win in Denver last season.
