ATHENS -- The Falcons, who don't have a reputation for drafting players from the University of Georgia, were deep at school's Pro Day on Wednesday.

The Falcons posse included head coach Dan Quinn, general manager Thomas Dimitroff, assistant general manager Scott Pioli, defensive line coach Bryan Cox, coach Lance Schulters, running backs coach Bobby Turner, scout Anthony Robinson, defensive backs coach Marquand Manual, special teams coordinator Keith Armstrong, assistant special teams coach Eric Sutulovich and scout Steve Sabo. The official list released by the school had 18 representatives from the Falcons on hand.

"We go strong," Quinn said.

They were on hand to see defensive end Leonard Floyd, running back Keith Marshall, linebackers Jordan Jenkins and  Jake Ganus and kicker Marshall Morgan.

The Falcons, who hold the 17th pick in the draft, lamented that Floyd, who met with Quinn, didn't do all of the position drills. They clearly wanted to evaluate him as a pass rusher.

"He’s a very good football player," Dimitroff said. "He’s very athletic. He has the size and the arm length. He has a lot of what people are looking for. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to see a full workout here. People are here to watch the big ticket guys. That’s an important thing for them. I see him over there. Hopefully, it’s something that’s not serious. I think it was a stomach."

Floyd will have to show his talents to teams who schedule him for a private workouts. He's set to meet with the Raiders.
