5 questions with Blake Sims

Q: Who are some of the teams you interviewed with?

A: I have talked to Philly, Seattle, Atlanta, Dallas, New York Giants and Tampa Bay.

Q: What do you think of Chip Kelly’s offense in Philadelphia?

A: I think it's great, you know, with the mobility that I have, and with the things that they do, I think I'd be very comfortable in that offense. They have great players on their team and I think that if they added me to the team I'd be a great guy to help the team get better.

Q: What’s some of the feedback that you’ve been receiving from teams?

A: They were very proud of the way that I overcame a lot of things at Alabama, and what my story was. They didn't know a lot of guys that would have done what I did, coming from running back and going straight to quarterback for my last year.

Q: How will your style translate to the NFL?

A: I think it will be a great transition. I think have a great opportunity to show the NFL what I'm capable of doing, and whoever decides to draft me to their team, I think they'll make a great pick.

Q: What do you tell teams that ask you about (Alabama wide receiver) Amari Cooper?

A: A great guy that can change the game at any time. A guy that is not about him, he's not selfish at all. He wants what's best for his team. If he doesn't make a catch in a game, you're going to know he was on the field because it might be because he made the game-winning block that opened somebody up to score a touchdown."
