CLEMSON, S.C. -- Former Rams defensive end Chris Long is set to visit the Falcons today, the team announced.
Long, who was the second player taken overall in the 2008 NFL draft, recorded 54.5 sacks for the Rams. He has also visited the Redskins and the Cowboys.
Long, the son of Hall of Famer Howie Long, has played in 114 games and made 94 NFL starts. His play has dipped over the past few seasons, which led to his released from the Rams.
He had 13 sacks in 2011 and 11.5 in 2012.
