college careers and could both end up being No. 1 overall draft picks if Tampa Bay selects Winston to start the 2015 draft.
They have had several conversations and Newton shared some of his advice to Winston about entering into the NFL on the show:
Newton: "First, he's a very bright young man. I don't think that gets portrayed enough… For him coming into this league, one thing that he's gonna always have to remind himself is… What's my carrot? And with talking to him, he said some of the same things that I heard in myself: 'I'm
trying to be the best. I want to win Super Bowls...’ But, have fun doing it… Understand that it’s a celebration when you get drafted No. 1 overall, but the realization is - and I say this to be real - you’re getting drafted to the league’s worst team. So it’s a process that goes

with that. And not only that, the first pick - last time I checked - was behind Tampa Bay and I’m like, ‘Bro, I can’t wait to see you two times a year.’”
