There is one less live music option in metro Atlanta this weekend.

Symphony on the Square's "Pops in the Park" concert on Saturday has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

"Due to weather-related events leading up to and including the day of the concert at East Cobb Park on Saturday, May 13, Symphony on the Square has decided to cancel this concert," a press release reads.

Organizers said rainy weather on Friday will prevent them from preparing for the show and cause the grassy seating area to be muddy for Saturday's show.

The community orchestra is comprised of musicians from Marietta. The now-cancelled show was a part of the group's spring concert series "An American Rhapsody."

The next event will take place May 27 on the Marietta Square in Glover Park. The free concert will begin at 8 p.m.

If you're still looking to hear live music this weekend, you still have some options. The Atlanta Jazz Festival is hosting a series called Neighborhood Jazz in a different metro Atlanta park throughout the month.
