With Hartsfield-Jackson International expecting to hit a major milestone of 100 million passengers this year, the airport is also preparing for a record level of construction as it expands and renovates the terminal.

The world's busiest airport plans to embark on an unprecedented level of construction in 2017 — about $779 million worth -- including new parking decks, new gates, terminal modernization and preparations for a new Concourse G.
