75% of Georgia residents plan to take a vacation in 2017, says AAA
Three-quarters of Georgia residents plan to take a vacation this year, according to AAA Travel.
More than half say they will take two to three vacations in 2017, according to AAA's consumer survey of about 400 Georgia residents from Sept. 28 through Oct. 6, 2016, with a margin of error of 4.9 percentage points.
For travelers nationwide, the top domestic destinations are Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Anaheim, Miami and Las Vegas, based on AAA travel bookings.
The top international destinations according to AAA travel bookings are Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Rome, Italy; Montego Bay, Jamaica; London, England; and Nassau, Bahamas.
