Hartsfield-Jackson has installed dozens of electric vehicle charging stations in its parking lots, part of a plan to install 100 of the spots for electric vehicle charging at the airport by the end of the year.

The airport's international hourly parking garage now has 16 electric vehicle charging spaces, located on the second floor of the garage. The international terminal hourly garage costs $2 per hour for the first two hours and $32 for a full day. It has six Level 2 chargers and ten Level 1 chargers, according to Hartsfield-Jackson spokesman Reese McCranie. There is no separate fee for charging, according to McCranie.

The airport's park-ride reserve lot has 30 spaces with Level 1 charging stations for electric vehicles. The park-ride reserve lot is a members-only lot with shuttle service to the terminal and guaranteed parking spaces at $12 per day.
