A disagreement between crew members delayed a Delta Connection flight, prompting an apology from the airline.

A pilot and flight attendant exchanged words in the aisle including some profanity, according to a New York Daily News report, which also said each "alleged the other had aggressively grabbed the other's arm" on the Monday flight departing from LaGuardia Airport.

Delta subsidiary Endeavor Air, a Delta Connection carrier, apologized to customers on Flight 3925 from LaGuardia to Portland, Maine "whose travel was inconvenienced as a result of a disagreement between two crew members."

"The actions of these crew members, as described, in no way reflects the respect, values and professionalism we expect from our employees," Delta's Endeavor Air said in a written statement.
