Carson Daly spent a day as a Delta Air Lines baggage handler for an NBC's "Today" show series called Up for the Job.

Daly loaded cargo and baggage in Delta's operation at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport last week as an "intern," according to the airline.

A baggage handler manually loads up to 1.5 tons of baggage and cargo on a busy day, Delta says. The physically-demanding job also requires working outside in the elements, from the heat of summer to rainstorms and cold winter days.
