Music’s biggest night in television aired Sunday, Feb. 5 and the conversation around the show has had social media buzzing. With everything from the red carpet to the performances, Atlanta was at the center of some of the night’s biggest moments. Here are a few that you’ve got to check out if you missed the show!

Offset and Cardi B on the red carpet

The married couple delivered looks that we just couldn’t take our eyes off! Cardi stunned in an electric blue number, while Offset sported a cream tone and black look with pearl accents. Of course, Offset lets his wife get her shine before joining her on the red carpet for them to pose together.

Super producer, The Dream, accepts an award on Beyonce’s behalf

The Atlanta-raised producer made his way to the stage to collect one of Queen Bey’s many Grammys for writing and co-producing her song “Cuff It.” That win contributed to her total of 32 Grammys, making Beyonce the most Grammy-awarded artist in the awards’ history.

Big Boi performing during the 50th-anniversary tribute to hip-hop

Appearing on stage, rocking an Atliens cap in true Atlanta fashion, the hip-hop icon brought the energy! Performing Outkast’s infamous hit “Atliens,” Big Boi gave the audience a true dose of that ATL talent!

Quavo and Maverick City Music’s tribute to Takeoff

This part of the night brought tears to my eyes. Quavo and Maverick City Music took to the stage during the Grammy’s “In Memorandum” section to honor those in music that we lost. Quavo performed his tribute song to Takeoff “Without You,” while the gospel collective sang as well.

Lil Baby taking the stage during the 50th-anniversary tribute to hip-hop

Atlanta’s very own Lil Baby made sure he was representing the new generation of hip-hop during his hip-hop tribute performance. Baby performed one of his many hits, “Freestyle.”
