South by Southwest Interactive on Monday announced its last keynote slot for the 2016 festival. Trae Vassallo and Michele Madansky, co-authors of the "Elephant in the Valley" report on gender diversity in the workplace, will speak 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13.

Madansky runs a market research consultancy and Vassallo is an investor and entrepreneurial advisor. The "Elephant in the Valley" project was inspired by the saga of Ellen Pao and Kleiner Perkins last year.

For the festival, the keynote presenters are inviting SXSW attendees to fill out a survey in advance of the presentation. The deadline for that is March 4.

Previously announced keynote speakers include Under Armour CEO Kevin Plankauthor and researcher Brené BrownCasey Gerald, CEO of MBAs Across America and Andy Puddicombe of Headspace.
