Christian Matthews, the 6-foot-6 guard who committed to Georgia Tech over the weekend, opened up to the AJC on Monday about his decision.

2. 2017 RB takes in practice at Georgia Tech
Kurt Taylor, a 3-star running back from Newton High School, visited Georgia Tech and watched practice over the weekend, according to Rivals.com's Kelly Quinlan.
3. Three-way battle for Georgia defensive tackle
T.J. London, or "Big Snack" to some, told the AJC on Monday that he's narrowed down his final schools to Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee, UAB, Mississippi State and Louisville. According to London, the latter three lead the way.
4. Family tradition powers 3-star tight end
Sam Letton, a 3-star tight end from Walton High School, has a rich background in football. His father, Bill, is his offensive coordinator, and both of his brothers have played collegiately.
