A day after Texas A&M named Kyle Allen as its starting quarterback, it looks like his targets are starting to shape up as well.
And with one exception, the starters are young.
Now usually this wouldn't be a good thing, but two of the youngsters proved they could play in the SEC last season. Texas A&M wide receivers coach Aaron Moorehead met with the media on Tuesday and said that the projected starters are junior Josh Reynolds, sophomores Speedy Noil and Ricky Seals-Jones and freshman Christian Kirk are the projected starters, according to TexAgs Radio host Gabe Bock.
And it seems like expectations are extremely high for Reynolds.
Now having three other youngsters in a starting role usually isn’t a good sign for a team, but Noil and Seals-Jones balled out in the SEC last season with both collecting over 400 yards.
I mean, Noil’s first name is Speedy. That says it all. Ironically enough, it seems that things have slowed down for him in the film room.
That trio has proven a recipe for success, but add in former 5-star Kirk and things can get dangerous. According to Bock, Moorehead was raving about his freshman wideout.
