Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott had a dream season last year, leading the Bulldogs to a No. 1 ranking in the AP Poll. But on Tuesday, Prescott helped make someone else’s dream come true.
Campbell Dale, a five-year-old Mississippi State fan who is battling cancer, had the chance to become a Bulldog for the day, with the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

After spending time with the basketball and baseball teams, Dale, wearing Prescott's No. 15 jersey, was greeted by the preseason first-team All-SEC quarterback.
The two spent time together before heading off to practice, and even convinced MSU coach Dan Mullen to put something on the television besides practice film.
Then Dale was led to Davis Wade Stadium, the home of his favorite football team, and was given a No. 15 Bulldogs jersey with his name on it. For the grand-finale, Dale ran out onto the field from the locker room, smoke canvassing the tunnel entrance, just like the Bulldogs do before every home game.
With the type of news that generally makes headlines, and the players who seemingly can’t stay out of their own way, it is refreshing to see stories like this. SEC football is usually treated as though it is life or death, but for one day, Mississippi State broke from the routine and helped a five-year-old boy fulfill his dream.
Prescott has readily admitted that he is a fan of former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, and even chose his jersey number because of him.
Comparisons between the two quarterbacks on the field are easy to make, but perhaps they share similarities off the field as well.
