The Duke Williams Watch continues at Auburn.
The player who ESPN NFL Draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. said is the "No. 1 guy" at receiver in the 2016 draft, still hasn't practiced with his teammates.
He remains suspended.
Malzahn didn’t answer questions about Williams’ status on Monday, saying, “I’ll tell you when he gets back,” the AP reported.
“He had a discipline issue that we’re taking care of and when he takes care of that, he’ll be back on the field,” he said. “I’ll make that decision. I will let you know when he’ll be back. Bottom line: nobody is bigger than the team around here and that’s between me and him.”
Williams was a preseason All-SEC pick after he caught 45 passes for 730 yards in 2014 despite missing three games. He is 6-2, 224 pounds.
He also missed Auburn’s Outback Bowl loss to Wisconsin because he was suspended.
