After Auburn revealed a new helmet concept on Tuesday, Vanderbilt followed suit with its own new helmet design on Wednesday.
Defense quality control coach Rod Chance tweeted the sneak peek of the helmets.
The new concept features the Commodores’ signature anchor on the back with a chain running across the center.
After a 3-9 season in which the Commodores didn’t win a single SEC game, Derek Mason will be looking for more than just new helmets in his second season at the helm. The new helmets could debut on Sept. 3 against Western Kentucky.
