Auburn has released a new-look helmet Tuesday on Twitter:
The changes – a reflective shine on the decals and stripes – are subtle, and the Tigers become the latest in a number of programs to adopt the fashion trend.
The Tigers, ranked No. 7 in the preseason AP poll, could debut the helmets here in Atlanta, when they open their season at the Georgia Dome on Sept. 5 versus Louisville. Later down the road, they’ll host Georgia on Nov. 14.
