There was rampant speculation that Randrecous Davis would commit after Saturday's UGA Dawg Night prospect camp.

But it didn’t happen, according to his high school coach.

"He didn't commit last night," Mays High School coach Corey Jarvis told the AJC.

Davis, a 3-star recruit, told the AJC in advance of Dawg Night that he planned to commit if he earned a committable offer.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder is famous for having a “G” tattoo on his left bicep before making his college decision.

His coach didn’t give a reason for why Davis decided not to commit.

Davis is rated as the state’s 40th best receiver. He claims around 20 offers, including Alabama, Florida and Louisville.
