To mix things up, I thought I’d do a look-ahead to Georgia State’s August camp in a different format, A-to-Z:

L is for long trips
In back-to-back weeks for the second and third games of the season, Georgia State will play at New Mexico State and at Oregon.
That’s more than 4,200 miles roundtrip by car (which Georgia State won’t be traveling by to those games).
The Panthers will have bye week after being hunted by the Ducks to recover for the rest of the season.
The last time the Panthers went to the West Coast things started well before spiraling out of control.
Georgia State led Washington at halftime 14-0 last year only for the Huskies to score 45 unanswered points in a half.
Making it worse, running backs Kyler Neal and Jonathan Jean-Bart and linebacker Mackendy Cheridor suffered season-ending injuries in that game.
