Mirko Jurkovic Jr., who signed with Ohio State last February but failed to qualify there, will instead enroll at UGA over Notre Dame, according to Pete Sampson of Irish Illustrated.

If it works out, it would be a big addition for UGA, which signed four offensive linemen this year after hoping to bring in five. One of the signees, DeVondre Seymour, has already decided to give up football after reporting to UGA for summer school last month.

The 6-foot-5, 275-pound Jurkovic is a Notre Dame legacy who attended Florida’s IMG Academy prep school this past year. Rusty Mansell of 247Sports reported on Monday that Jurkovic is still waiting to be accepted into UGA.
