There’s a lot going on with UGA’s recruiting of special teams these days.

On Sunday, UGA watched its top target at punter, Blake Gillikin of Westminster high school, make a surprising decision to commit to Penn State over the Bulldogs and Northwestern.

On Monday, UGA shipped out a new 2016 offer – this time to a kicker. Eddy Pineiro of Miami tweeted out that the Bulldogs were his fourth offer, following Alabama, Florida and Miami.

Pineiro is also an Alabama commitment.

He committed to Alabama a couple of weeks ago. He now attends a Florida junior college and would have four years to play major-college football, he told al.com.
