Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer has been a mainstay of Major League Baseball games on Mother’s Day since 2006. (Louisville Slugger)
This Sunday will mark the 10th season major league baseball players will swing pink Louisville Sluggers in support of the “Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer” initiative.
Since 2006, the initiative has raised more than $1 million to support the fight against breast cancer.
Louisville Slugger has made more than 5,000 game pink bats for more than 100 players to swing in about 150 games.
Pink bats will be sold at mlb.com or sluggergifts.com. Or you could try win one in Louisville Slugger's hot-pink bats giveaway on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
Play ball, and Happy Mother’s Day.
