Will Georgia Tech and UGA get a chance to make a final impression on Jaylen Brown?
He’s the 6-foot-7 forward from Wheeler High School who is rated as the nation’s No. 2 overall prospect.
Brown has taken official visits to (rumored frontrunner) Kentucky, along with UCLA, Kansas, Michigan and North Carolina.

Brown had planned to take unofficial visits to Georgia Tech and UGA this winter, but wasn’t able to make due to scheduling conflicts.
However, the two local schools may have a glimmer of hope because Brown said he had "about a month" before reaching his college decision, according to Scout.com's Evan Daniels. Brown had previously considered committing at the McDonald's All-America basketball game, which will be played at 9 p.m. Wednesday (ESPN).
Brown was asked about Georgia Tech and UGA by Scout.
“I’m definitely going to have to reach out to them,” Brown said. “They are great coaches. They’ve been down and they’ve been with me since eighth grade. I have a lot of respect for those guys. Coach Brian Gregory and coach Mark Fox are great guys. So I definitely have to reach to them.
“They still reach out and it’s basically the same pitch as everybody else, but basically just staying at home and what staying at home could mean. They’ve talked to me about a lot of the great players that have stayed at home like Russell Westbrook, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.”
