Georgia sophomore Kendell Williams set two collegiate records (including one she previously held) and won her third career NCAA title at the Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday in Fayetteville, Ark.
Williams, a graduate of Kell High, owns three collegiate records: pentathlon, heptathlon 100-meter hurdles and pentathlon 60-meter hurdles. While at UGA, Williams has set four collegiate records. On Saturday, she broke her own record in the heptathlon and set the record in the 60m hurdles.
Williams owns the top three collegiate scores all-time in the pentathlon.
Williams set the 60m hurdles record Saturday, with a time of 8.1 seconds. Her score in the pentathlon was 4,678 points, eclipsing her old mark of 4,635 set in the 2014 NCAA Championships. Her record time in the 100m hurdles is 12.99 seconds.
