Georgia State’s Ryan Harrow was suspended by the university for Monday’s game at Arkansas State because of an accumulation of technical fouls he has received this season.

Harrow, a senior and native of Marietta, has unofficially received six technical fouls this season. He is the Panthers’ leading scorer at 20.4 points per game.

After Harrow’s most recent technical, which came after a dunk in an 83-62 win over Texas-Arlington last week, coach Ron Hunter put some of the blame for the technical on the game officials, saying that Harrow has developed a reputation so they are looking at home more severely.

But he and Harrow also noted that the lithe guard is an emotional player, and he often needs that emotion to play well.
