The calendar is filling up quickly over the next month with local technology and blogging conferences.

There are way too many to list here (I’ll have a Digital Savant Micro post up later today pointing you to some places to find lots more), but here are a few upcoming ones that have caught my eye.

Austin Food Blogger Alliance "Byte of Texas" Conference — it happens this Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 27-28) with panels on photography, social media ethics, food culture and lots more. Several past and present Statesman staffers including Addie Broyles are included in an impressive list of event speakers. It will be held at the Bullock Texas State History Museum.

Innotech Austin — this is an annual one-day event at the Austin Convention Center with topics including cybersecurity, women in tech, healthcare IT and marketing. It happens Oct. 15. Here's the list/bio of speakers.

Blogathon ATX — Since 2010, this blogging conference has helped experienced bloggers fix nagging issues on their sites, new bloggers get started and everyone get inspired about the creative and business sides of blogging. Big old self-promotion disclaimer: my "Statesman Shots" co-host Tolly Moseley and I are on a panel with Robert Quigley discussing non-traditional ways to cover news. We'd love to see you there on Oct. 25 at Tech Ranch Austin.

Latinitas Code Chica Conference — The first all-day coding event on Oct. 25 for girls happens at Austin Community College's Eastview Campus, 9 to 4:30 p.m. It's free for Latinitas participants, $15 for anyone 9-18 who wants to join in, and includes lunch. It's part of Google's Made with Code movement and will teach code language skills as the girls participate in a hackathon.

Captivate Conference — The second year of Captivate, a conference focused on the convergence of gaming, music, film and mobile, moves to ACC's Highland Campus and runs Oct. 24-26. Here's the list of speakers.
